On Wednesday 18 September the U12 A and B teams traveled to Cranleigh School for a hockey tournament.
The A Team came top of their group, the scores were:
3-0 win against Dorset House
3-0 win against St Johns
0-0 draw against Seaford
This resulted in winning their group putting them through to the semi-finals against Epsom College winning 3-1. In the final the girls faced Seaford, this was an exciting game which Danes Hill won 1-0.
The U12 B Team also won their group putting them through to the semi-finals, the scores were:
1-0 win against St John’s
2-0 win against Highfield
0-0 draw against Cranleigh.
In the semi-finals the girls played exceptionally well, winning 2-0 against Seaford. In the final they came up against Cranleigh, at full time the score was 1-1, resulting in penalty shuffles. They were unlucky to lose by one goal, coming in 2nd place.
