The Danes Hill squad took part in the National schools Rosslyn Park 7s tournament in sunny weather on the last day of the Spring Term. This is the most prestigious schools rugby 7s tournament in the world with a large number of overseas teams taking part in what is a very high standard of rugby. It was their last ever rugby event at Danes Hill and one which clearly meant a lot to the squad. The boys did brilliantly well, winning their first two matches and narrowly losing their next in the group. The whole squad contributed and defence had notably stepped up since previous tournaments! The last game of the day was a nail biting effort which saw Danes Hill 3 tries up at half time, only for the opposition to fight back leaving one score in it with 2 minutes on the clock! Danes Hill put in a great display of defence to hold onto a final and last ever win! Well done all.
