On Friday 23 November, the Year 2 girls travelled to Downsend School for an afternoon of hockey skills.
The girls were split into groups with Downsend pupils and rotated around five different skill stations. This included: dribbling with control, passing through gates, shooting at goal, turning with the ball and individual stick skills.
It was wonderful to see the girls making new friends with the Downsend pupils and demonstrating their hockey skills that they have learnt throughout this term.
A fantastic afternoon playing hockey at Downsend and we look forward to the Year 2 girls representing Danes Hill in sport fixtures in the near future.
