The U8 A & B girls hockey teams had great success in their recent matches against The Royal Russell School and Lambrook.
VS Lambrook 21.09.2018
On Friday the 21 September, the under 8 A & B hockey teams travelled to Lambrook for a fun-filled afternoon of hockey. After a wet start, the clouds disappeared and the sun shone high in the sky, lifting the spirits of our teams.
In true Danes Hill style, the girls performed at their absolute best, displaying an array of newly-learnt skills. The matches were tight, with both teams walking away with a draw.
The A team’s results were 0-0. The player of the match went to D Peatfield.
The B team’s results were 1-1. The player of the match went to E Karim.
Congratulations to all the girls who played. You should all be very proud of yourselves.
A special thank you to all the parents who turned up to watch. It means a lot to the girls who always seem to play exceptionally well when they are heavily supported from the side line.
