The U11 netball team competed at the IAPS Regional Championships at East Grinstead Sports Centre.

In the pool stages the results were as follows:

Won 4-1 against Cottemore
Won 2-1 against St Michael’s
Won 4-0 against Rydes
Won 3-1 against Vinehall School
Won 6-1 against Ardingly College Prep
Drew 5-5 draw against Copthorne School.

This meant that the girls came first place in their pool and were through to the National finals.

The girls then went onto play two more games and finished third place overall. The girls must be congratulated on this outstanding achievement!

The 1st netball team competed in the U13 IAPS Regional Championships. In the pool stages, the results were:

Won 6-4 v Ashdown House
Won 1-0 v Handcross Park
Won 12-0 v Cottesmore
Won 4-3 v Hazelwood School
Won 5-3 v St Micheal’s Prep
Lost 2-9 v Edgeborough
Won 6-2 v West Hill Park

This meant we finished 2nd in our group. We would now have to play in knockout matches for the chance to progress through to the IAPS National Finals.

In the first knockout match v Marlborough House we won 7-2. We then went on to play in the 3rd and 4th playoff against Hazelwood School. Only 3 places were available for the finals so whoever won this match would qualify for the National IAPS Finals. This was an extremely close match and at the final whistle, the teams were drawing 3-3. The game would now continue to golden goal. Play was turned over by both teams and unfortunately Hazelwood scored the goal to go through to the finals. All the girls should be immensely proud of their efforts and produced some of the best performances they have all term.
