On Saturday 10 September, Danes Hill 1st team played in Hoebridge Schools Annual 6-a-side football tournament. Danes Hill finished 2nd in the group scoring 5 points with a win against Northcote Lodge and two draws against Downsend and Shrewsbury House. In the semi final Danes Hill beat Hoebridge 2-0, setting up a rematch in the final against Shrewsbury House. The final was a close encounter with lots of attacking play on show. Danes Hill came out on top winning 1-0. Well done to all boys involved – a great way to start the football season.
