Both the U9 A and U9 B teams were within seconds of achieving the perfect end to the season at the Downsend football tournament.
Things couldnt have gone better for both sides in the lead-up to their respective finals as they brushed aside their opponents with relative ease. Unfortunately, they both fell at the final hurdle with the A team agonisingly losing out in sudden death penalties, whilst the B team were downed by a last minute free-kick.
Commiserations to both sides but congratulations also on a wonderful performance.
