On Saturday a squad of year 7 & 8 girls competed in the first ever Danes Hill Superteams event. This is a competition to find the ultimate sporting school. Ten carefully chosen girls from Years 7 & 8 competed in tournaments in all the major sports – hockey, netball, cricket and athletics – to decipher which team is the Superteam. The results were:
Hockey 2nd place
Netball 4th place
Cricket 2nd place
Unfortunately due to rain, we were unable to complete the relay event.
Overall we placed 3rd. Well done to all the girls who participated in the Superteams event.
