The Danes Hill skiing season was brought to an exciting close as a dozen of the schools finest skiers headed to the Sandown Dual Slalom competition.
The format of this event makes for some thrilling skiing, as competitors compete head to head on a tight and challenging course. To add to the excitement, there was skiing royalty in attendance as none other than Olympian Eddie The Eagle Edwards opened the event.
All of the Danes Hill skiers could not be faulted for their effort. In the end, the under 14 team secured third place whilst the under 10s went one better, clinching the runners-up spot. These were some fitting results to what has been another outstanding season for Danes Hill.
