Year 7 gave a fantastic performance on Tuesday 6 December. It was based on the film Elf where Buddy was accidently transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santas elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he does not fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf attire, in search of his real father. After DNA proof, his father reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results.
Year 7 played each part with passion and the standard of acting and singing was superb. A special mention has to be made for the soloists who were excellent in their performances. Well done, Year 7, we are already looking forward to your next production.
