Children in Year 2 played host to the Hobgoblin Theatre Company today to launch their English lesson studies into Traditional Tales.
The Redhill based group of actors, which is celebrating its tenth birthday this year, performed a wonderful adaptation of the Brothers Grimms popular fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel. The children were enthralled by the performance of the professional actors and needed no invitation to join them on the stage as they took part in a series of drama workshops led by the actors.
This was a wonderful way to start the term and, needless to say, the children are all looking forward to their continued studies into popular literary tales.
