In support of their current topic of study, children in RAT visited Pizza Express to learn how to make pizzas.
The children were first taught how to flatten the dough using a special technique before Jake coated the base in a yummy tomato sauce. The young pizza makers had to be extra careful not to get any sauce on their hands. Finally, the most fun part arrived as the students sprinkled mozzarella on top.
The children learnt where mozzarella came from, what vitamins a pepper had and where many of the other ingredients are sourced from. It was an extremely fun outing and certainly supplemented the recent learning in class.
