Children in Reception displayed some outstanding Bollywood dancing to celebrate Diwali.
The children got into the Bollywood spirit, wearing Bindis and scarves with little coins attached which jingled as they showed off their best moves. The boys and girls learnt a variety of dance moves using every part of their body and were delighted as they took to the dance floor.
There was an educational aspect to the event too as the children developed their cultural knowledge, learning all about Diwali, India and the Festival of Lights, a Hindu religious festival.
Everyone who took part, including the teachers who could not help but get involved, committed wholeheartedly to the workshop and made it a truly memorable event.
