Children in 3JCP were certainly barking up the right tree last week with their assembly all about mans best friend.
Fittingly, the assembly took place the morning after International Puppy Day and all of the children in 3JCP led Danes Hill in continuing to celebrate the joy that dogs bring. They gave a wonderful insight into the history of dogs and touched on the service that dogs have given in war times and the service they continue to give as carers and companions.
As has become customary with these assemblies, the performance included a lyrical, big hit number, with the children singing Ben by Michael Jackson, a song all about friendship.
Well done too all of the children for a wonderful and moving performance. No doubt all those with pets would have gone home and given them a big cuddle that evening! After the assembly, parents joined together to revel in their childrens performance as they enjoyed refreshments outside the Headmasters Office.
