Danes Hills House competition yet again brought out the very best in its pupils.
Children from the Main School (Years 2-8) were eligible for entry into the competition and were judged by external judges throughout Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Successful pupils were put forward to perform at the House Music Concert in the Ark on Wednesday evening.
As in previous years, the standard was staggeringly high and the performers certainly gave their all for their Houses. There was a range of musical talents for the enraptured audience to enjoy with piano, cello, drums, voice and even a bassoon piece.
Well done to everyone who took part, especially to the Saxons who were the ultimate winners of the competition. It was very pleasing to see the depth of musical talent present at Danes Hill, especially those of such a young age.
