Friday 15 June brought beautiful weather for our annual Grandparents Day. Grandparents travelled from as far as Abu Dhabi, South Africa, and Australia to celebrate the wonderful work of our students.
Grandparents were treated to various performances throughout the day. Bevendean gave a lovely production, impressing all with their impeccable behaviour. Years 1 and 2 delivered brilliant renditions of the songs Droop in the Ocean and Back to the Beginning in the Lower School performance, followed by Do-Re-Mi and Yellow Submarine from the Lower School Choir. The Middle and Upper School performance showcased an array of talent, with singing from the Middle School Choir, solo music performances from Upper School students, and LAMDA pieces.
The Grandparents also enjoyed a tour of the school led by their grandchildren, and at the end of the day relaxed with high tea and Pimms on the Headmasters Terrace.
Grandparents Day is always a special occasion for all: thank you for the hard work put in by staff and students and to the grandparents travelling so far to join us.
