The Danes Hills house system was recently introduced to children in Bevendean, with each child being assigned to Danes, Normans, Saxons or Vikings. It has been a pleasure to see the youngsters embrace their houses with as much enthusiasm as the pupils in the Main School.
It was a memorable moment for four members of the Pre-Prep as the House Captains from the Main School visited Bevendean to present their junior counterparts with their badges.
To celebrate the occasion, the children also designed posters as a show of support to their designated houses. The best four poster designers were awarded prizes in assembly and will also enjoy the pride of seeing their posters displayed on the house board next to the library.
We are all looking forward to seeing these young House Captains excel in their roles and represent their houses with pride.
