It was the Dalai Lama who said there isnt anyone who doesnt appreciate kindness and compassion and that was certainly true when it came to 2ELGs assembly. Indeed the first week back after half-term was brought to the kindest of conclusions as children in 2ELG delivered a superb assembly which truly warmed the heart.
Every pupil played their part in the assembly, which was all about the act of kindness and they werent alone in telling their tale! In fact they had the assistance of Leo the lion, whose own kindness had helped him become king. The assembly was brought to a wonderful conclusion as the children sang their own version of Bruno Marss hit number Count on Me.
A very special well done to all of the children for delivering one of Danes Hills most memorable assemblies. The other children, teachers and parents in attendance adored the performance and were visibly proud as they gathered for coffee outside the Headmasters office after the assembly.
