This session will give you an insight into how we teach early reading and phonics in school, and how you can support your child at home. You will see the strategies we use to help children develop their sounds, blending, and early reading confidence

Take place in classrooms - English and maths only

A wildlife park showcasing over 40 native British species, with close-up encounters and keeper talks in natural outdoor settings. The children will have guided talks and leaders throughout teh day.

Parents are warmly invited to come to the Year 5 classrooms at drop-off. The children will leave for assembly at 8:30, where parents are also invited for the Visiting Head's Assembly.
