At Danes Hill, every child’s health and wellbeing is central to school life. Our fully equipped Medical Centre provides compassionate, professional care, led by Anna Corbett, Nursing Manager and Registered Nurse, formerly an A&E nurse and experienced Lead Practice Nurse.
Our Medical Centre
Pupils are supported to stay healthy, safe and ready to learn and thrive at school. Children who are unwell or injured are cared for in the Medical Centre, with Anna also attending the Pre-Prep regularly and as required.
The Medical Centre Handbook brings together key medical and first aid policies, forms and guidance in one comprehensive guide for staff, parents and visitors.
The Medical Centre is supported by the School Doctor, Dr Richard Draper, and Mrs Nicki Cunningham, Medical Centre and Operations Assistant. Danes Hill is also a member of the Medical Officers of Schools Association (MOSA), which provides additional professional guidance, education and support.

Medical Forms and Information
Parents of new pupils are asked to complete a Confidential Medical Form before their child joins the school. Any changes to a pupil’s medical history, health needs or wellbeing should be emailed to nurse@daneshillschool.co.uk during the school year. Prescribed medicines must be accompanied by an Administration of Prescribed Medicine form.
Parents should also email the Medical Centre if their child has taken any medication before arriving at school.
The Medical Centre team is always happy to support families with any questions about a pupil’s health or wellbeing at school.
