Learning Support

Danes Hill is an inclusive school, and every pupil is provided with the support necessary to achieve his or her potential. The school’s Learning Support Centre has a team of dedicated Learning Support staff providing assistance for pupils with a range of learning and/or organisational difficulties. In addition the Director of Learning Support has responsibility for the Gifted & Talented programme which includes the provision of more diverse language teaching (e.g. Greek) as well as extra-curricular mathematics and other enrichment activities. The school operates an EAL programme to provide support for a number of children for whom English is not their first language.
