Bursaries
At Danes Hill School, we are committed to making our education accessible to as many families as possible. Our bursary programme offers means-tested financial support to pupils who would benefit from a Danes Hill education but may not otherwise be able to attend.
To make the process fair, transparent and easier to manage, we are introducing a new annual bursary application window for the 2026/27 academic year.
How the New Process Works
From 2026/27 onwards, families will be invited to apply for bursary support during a dedicated application period. This new approach ensures that all applications are considered together and that bursary funds are allocated in a consistent and timely way. The application window to apply is 15 October 2025 – End of Autumn Term (December 2025). During this time:
- New applications for bursary support can be submitted.
- Current bursary holders will be invited to reapply and have their support reviewed.
All applications received will be carefully reviewed by our Financial Assistance Working Group (FAWG). Decisions will be shared with families by 31 March 2026, giving plenty of time to plan for the next academic year.
