Wellbeing at Danes Hill goes beyond care — it is actively taught, modelled, and celebrated. Through PD (Personal Development) sessions, overseen by our Head of PD and Wellbeing, pupils explore topics such as friendship, resilience, digital responsibility and mental health.
When additional support is needed, we offer a range of interventions, including:
· Restorative Conversations – reflection and repair after difficulties.
· SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Support – targeted sessions for pupils needing additional emotional or therapeutic guidance.
· Time In – a calm space for regulation and reflection.
· Constructive Support Programmes – bespoke plans for pupils requiring ongoing help.
We believe that emotional wellbeing and academic progress are inseparable, and we work closely with parents to ensure that each child feels confident and supported.
