Last week our Year 7 pupils headed down to the paddock to collect some samples. From the pond they took large sample of the water, taking with it a variety of the species living within. Today in their science lesson these samples are being analysed under the microscope by our year 7 pupils. They are studying the ecology of the pond and the inhabitants within. Taking a look down the microscope, the children were able to see life forms that the naked eye cannot see. This amazing experiment carried out by our Year 7’s revealed a whole world of tiny life forms living underneath the ponds water surface.
