U12 IAPS Regional Success

9th March 2020

On Friday the 6 March, the U12 Netball team travelled to Cranleigh school for their IAPS regional netball tournament.

The U12 team played exceptional netball in all of their matches, a particularly exciting match was against the host school Cranleigh, where the girls were losing at half time and managed to win the match in a 7-6 victory.

This was one of many wins, the girls played against Highfield School and won 11-5, Seaford 9-5 and an impressive 13-0 win against CLFS, which put them in the running to make it through to Nationals. The girls played with grit and determination to ensure they were through.

The last game was against Windlesham House, who started the first half very well and just like the Cranleigh game, the Danes Hill girls kept focussed and won their final match 10-6.

This meant the U12 team were through to nationals without a single loss and took first place at their IAPS regional rounds.

A huge well done to the whole team and we wish you the best of luck at nationals!
