On Wednesday 11 March the U11 A team competed in the Surrey Netball Tournament at Guildford High School. The girls played in five excellent games, starting with a 3-2 win against Streatham and Clapham. The teams then went on to lose 2-6 against Halstead and 3-2 against Holy Cross. This didnt set them back, they then went onto playing some fantastic netball, winning 6-1 against Rowan and 4-1 against St Hilarys. In a tense wait to find out whether the team made it through to the quarter-finals, the girls narrowly lost on 2nd place in our pool by 2 goals.
The girls have had a fantastic netball season and have worked hard to develop their skills. They should all be very proud of their achievements.
