On Saturday 7 March the U10 and U11 girls travelled to Hall Grove to take part in a football tournament. Due to the weather cancelling fixture the girls have not had many opportunities to play this term, and so it was a great experience for all involved to showcase their skills, and the girls were brilliant! They showed fantastic football skills and played exceptionally well in their teams. Multiple goals were scored in every game, and special mention should be given to M Cunningham who scored 6 goals throughout the tournament for the U10 team and I Gilmore who scored 4 for the U11s.
The U10 girls were undefeated and did not concede one goal. They, therefore, came 1st place. Whilst the U11 girls also had a successful day coming in 2nd place overall. All of the girls played really well, coaches from the other schools even commented on how good their football skills were.
