Recently, the Year 5 A and B hockey teams and the Year 8 girls were treated to specialist hockey sessions from Reeds School. Ben Edwards (Director of Sport) and Brett Garrard (Hockey Specialist) came in to deliver a superb session on ball carrying and comfort in possession.
The girls learned a lot about their ball carrying position and how to beat a defender. We would like to extend our gratitude to both Ben and Brett for giving up their time to teach the girls.
Next term, Ben and Brett will be returning to deliver specialist sessions to Danes Hill Boys as they move to Hockey in February.
