On Friday 1 March the 1st team travelled to Cranleigh to compete in the U13 IAPS Netball Tournament. The girls played a total of 9, 12 minutes matches throughout the day. During the group stages the scores were:
Loss 6-7 Feltonfleet
Loss 5-6 Barrow Hills
Win 9-1 St Michael’s
Win 3-2 Highfield
Win 8-2 Cottesmore
Win 7-5 Great Walstead
Loss 0-11 Westbourne House.
This places the girls 3rd in their group, putting them through to the plate semi-finals against Cottesmore, winning by 3 goals which placed them in the final. The girls were faced with Barrow Hills in the final, unfortunately losing but it was a fantastic game.
The girls were awarded silver medals, which is an excellent achievement. Their skill level and teamwork is to be commended! Well done girls!
