On Friday 1 March, the Year 6 cricket squad had a pre-season training session with Hannah Jones. Hannah has been a senior member of the Surrey Women’s team for the past 5 years and has recently been appointed captaincy for the 2019 season. Hannah was part of the Surrey Stars set up last year and has been invited back again this year. As an experienced ECB Level 2 Coach, Hannah is the lead female coach at her local club Normandy CC.
This session was great preparation for the U11 Indoor Cricket Festival at Lightwater Leisure Centre in a few weeks. Well done to all the girls that participated.
