On Friday the Year 6 girls enjoyed a hockey masterclass with Naomi Evans. Naomi Evans is a 1st team Surbiton hockey player and former junior Australia international. The session begun with an inspirational talk on her hockey career, followed by some questions from the girls. The girls then showed their skills on the hockey pitch, playing some fun games with Naomi and then playing some matches. The girls also had an opportunity to get their sticks signed at the end of the session. The year 6 girls were thrilled to be coached by Naomi and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
