On Saturday the U10A football team travelled to King’s House School to play in a 7 a side tournament in glorious sunshine. Danes Hill started slowly losing their first two matches: 1-0 vs Shrewsbury House and 3-0 vs Hall grove. In the third match they started to move the ball better and created more scoring opportunities but were unable to score hitting the post and crossbar, in a 0-0 with Durston House. Next up was local rivals Downsend, this was another tight match with both teams playing out from the back and looking comfortable on the ball under pressure. The game ended 1-1, despite Danes Hill having more chances to score. In the final two games of the day, Danes Hill produced their best football of the tournament. Maintaining possession of the ball well and attacking quickly. This resulted in a 2-0 win vs Harrodian and a 2-0 win vs Rokeby.
