On Tuesday, the Year 6 girls braved the elements to take part in Hockey Disneyland on the Astro. 12 exciting stations combined some tough physical tests with a combination of core hockey skills to challenge the girls in all areas of the sport.
Woking as hard as they possibly could in 1-minute intervals, the girls rotated around the pitch in each activity, pushing each other along the way.
Sprinting, endurance and core strength were at the centre of all of the exercises and the girls worked brilliantly in challenging conditions. At the end of the session, the girls had worked incredibly hard and were able to put the skills they had been practising into effect in a series of small sided games.
