On Wednesday 20 November the U13 A rugby squad travelled to a cold Wellington College rugby festival. The squad were confident after a great pre-season tour and convincing win over the Oratory School in their first official match of the season the week previous. The Danes Hill group looked strong, containing a sizable Thomas Clapham team and Dulwich Prep whom always provide tough opposition. After convincing wins against Eagle House and Weatherby, Danes Hill put on a great attacking display to beat Thomas Clapham 30:0 before a big final game against Dulwich. The boys did not disappoint, this time in defence by keeping Dulwich without a try and eventually breaking them down and scoring 4 tries of their own to make the final score 20:0. This was a great start to the season and with elements of attack still to work on, the U13 A remain a force to be reckoned with should their efforts remain the same!
