Danes Hill 1st XI played Hall Grove on Tuesday afternoon in the quarter-final of the Surrey Cup. Danes Hill started fast scoring inside the first minute. They quickly doubled the score line a few minutes later. Danes Hill kept possession of the ball well, moving it effectively from defence into attack, scoring another three goals before half-time, with Hall Grove also scoring. Danes Hill continued to play fast in the second half and pressed Hall Grove high up the pitch, scoring another 4 goals, making the final score 9-2 to Danes Hill. This was another great result for the 1st XI football team, who are now have a semi-final against Hoe Bridge.
