On Saturday 12 May a team of U11 girls competed in their first rounders tournament of the season. Throughout the tournament the girls displayed some excellent batting and fielding skills against St George’s, Hoe Bridge, Caterham and Royal Russell. The competition was strong, resulting in Danes Hill coming in 6th place. The team reflected on areas they needed to improve on going into the Downsend tournament the following week. During the Downsend tournament the girls demonstrated some excellent fielding skills showing that they had really improved from the previous week. In this tournament, Danes Hill managed to beat The Study with a convincing win placing them in 5th place. Well done to all that played!
