On Monday 4 June a team of Danes Hill girls from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 went to Notre Dame to compete in their annual Cross Country Relay Event. Each year group had two teams of 4 athletes and competed against 7 other schools. The girls demonstrated excellent teamwork and determination which was reflected in the results. The results were:
Year 3 – 1st place
Year 4 – 4th Place
Year 5- 1st Place
Year 6- 1st Place.
The fantastic results from all the year groups put us in 1st place overall, winning the shield. Well done girls, an excellent achievement.
