The Geography department has recently purchased a selection of board games, which we hope will help the children perfect their geographical skills. In their lesson today, Year 8 played ‘Geog! The Great Britain map-reading game’. They had to navigate the board and answer various questions about ten different map reading skills, aiming to collect the cards and become the winner! Today G Demetriou managed to collect four skill cards and was crowned his class winner.
In Year 6 Geography, the children were completing a map of Great Britain as a jigsaw. All the children managed to complete the puzzle and improve their geographical skills.
