Danes Hill celebrated World Book Day this week. On Thursday the children and teachers at both Bevendean and Main School came in dressed as characters from popular books. Mrs Keat the librarian kick-started the day with an assembly, telling all of the children her top 5 desert island books. Throughout the day the children took part in workshops with author Helen Dennis and a Wheres Wally treasure hunt. Thank you to Mrs Keat and Mrs Bate for organising such a fantastic week of activities and workshops.
