STEM Challenge

16th March 2020

A selection of pupils from the Upper School were invited to test their engineering abilities at a STEM challenge hosted at Shrewsbury House school on Friday 13 March.

O Collard, R Simm, L Rexstrew and C Jerram were paired up with boys from the other school and given two hours to build a glider out of a small selection of resources. After a lot of cutting, gluing, sanding and chin-scratching, C Jerram and his partner were victorious with a flight distance of over 15 meters. A great afternoon was had by all and we look forward to next year’s STEM challenge.
