Last week Danes Hill’s Eco Day was a great success, the children’s efforts to recycle and re-use were amazing. Miss Joyce Year 3 class used the recycling theme in their art lesson by creating scultpures using recyclable objects. Using a variety of plastic bottles, cardboard boxes and tins they were able to create animals, rockets and even a coffee machine! The children thoroughly enjoyed this project and worked in their teams to create some amazing recycled sculptures!
