Irregular Shapes Science Experiment

25th January 2019

Year 7 pupils were looking at the density of irregular shapes today in their science lesson. Using water displacement and measuring the volume of the displaced water, they could work out the density of the shape. Various objects were tested, such as a long string of plastic beads, a corner of a brick and a ball of plasticine. A wet but fun experiment!
