3MSB have been learning the vocabulary for foods and drinks in their French lessons. Today they put their knowledge to the test as they participated in a cafe role play. Along with the vocabulary of foods and drinks, they learnt other important simple phrases such as, je voudrais translated to I would like and cest combien? meaning how much will it cost?. In pairs they practised buying items such as ice cream, banana, cake and Croque Monsieur. They also had the opportunity to practice their maths skills whilst purchasing items in Euros.
