A Sunny Morning at The Paddock

12th February 2019

Transition enjoyed a sunny morning at the paddock today. A short walk from our Main School, the paddock is surrounded by beautiful fields and is our Transition children’s favourite place to explore nature. Each week our Bevendean classes head down to the paddock to spend some time jumping in the mud, investigating the environment with Mr Dormer and exploring the wildlife found in the pond. Classes from the Main School also go to the paddock to complete geographic case studies and scientific experiments. On their visit today Transition were using numbers to explore and count the objects they found. One group counted 9 trees, 12 stones and even found two ‘dinosaur eggs’ buried in the hill, what a find! Transition thoroughly enjoyed their morning at the Paddock.
