The Prep School is divided into the Junior School (Years 2 to 5), and Upper School (Years 6 to 8), each with its own Head, its own assemblies and traditions, and very much its own ethos. Children are encouraged to feel allegiance to their own particular section of the school, and this sectional subdivision ensures that the school never feels overwhelmingly big.

Our expansive grounds and facilities are available for hire during school holidays and at certain times during the term.

Our 55 acres of landscaped ground in the village of Oxshott makes Danes Hill School a special and popular venue for a wide range of activities and events.

Timings and availability:

Sports Hall/Swimming Pool/Astro

Monday – Friday 7am-6pm (term-time only)

Saturday & Sunday 9am – 5pm (term-time only)

Monday – Sunday 9am – 4pm (holidays)

Studio Theatre and the Ark

8am – 9pm

The Pre-Prep School Council ran a successful and festive Christmas Coat Drive this week on behalf of @oasischildrenscharity. We have collected pre-loved coats for babies, toddlers, teens and grown-ups, all of which will be delivered directly to Oasis to help keep the families they support, warm for... the winter. Thank you once again to our incredibly generous Danes Hill community and all who donated and to The Pre-Prep School Council and Mrs Salmon for organising the event.

Our Year 7 pupils were creating beautiful paintings with Miss Reeves inspired by Claude Monet. Monet was a key figure in the Impressionist movement. They began by creating the base layer of colour washes and in the coming weeks they will add the details. We are really looking forward to seeing the ...paintings displayed around the school!

It has been an outstanding season of football for our U11 Team. Their determination on the pitch paired with their passion for the sport has been wonderful to witness. They competed in the @iapsuksport National Finals Day at @millfieldschool, after losing out on the Plate Final on penalties, they ...finished as the 10th best U11 team in the country. Well done boys, an outstanding achievement and a huge thank you to their parents for their ongoing support.
