Mrs Samson visited the Caterpillars class while they were busy with their morning activities. The children were very excited to see her and hear an amazing story from her. Mrs Samson read them the story of All Are Welcome by Alexandra Penfold, a lovely book with beautiful illustrations celebrating diversity and inclusivity. Mrs Samson reminded the children, no matter how you start your day, what you wear, when you play, or if you come from far away, all are welcome. The children followed the tale of a group of children through a day in their school, where everyone is welcome!
The Caterpillars were captivated by Mrs Samsons story and thoroughly enjoyed her visit. They were able to show her some of the incredible artwork they had been working on and their wonderful behaviour which they demonstrate everyday in and out of the classroom with Mrs Robins!
