Second Hand Uniform Shop
The Second Hand Uniform Shop is situated on the Main School site behind The Ark. The shop is run by a group of volunteer mums whose aim is to supply good quality second hand uniform at very reasonable rates. The shop raises funds for The Friends of Danes Hill and of course for the parents who are selling their items of uniform. It is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for sales, and on Mondays for the submission of uniform. (see opening times)

How to submit items
Parents may submit items of uniform for sale at the shop as follows:
• Uniform should be submitted on a Monday morning only. (See Opening times)
• When delivering to the shop all items should be cleaned/zips checked/buttons replaced, and checked for any holes/stains etc. Blazers should be cleaned and on hangers.
• All items should be labelled and priced with FODH labels (available from the shop).
• An inventory should be completed to be kept by the seller only.
• An A4 envelope with the seller’s name and address on it and 4 smaller self- addressed envelopes should also be included.
• When items are sold their labels will be kept in the A4 envelope.
• Payments will be made twice a year using the smaller self-addressed envelopes. If the amount owed is under £10 this will be carried forward to the next payout, due to the bank charging FODH for each cheque issued. Cheques must be cashed within 6 months – after that date a lost or uncashed cheque will not be replaced.
• Clothes will be kept for 2 years and then if unsold sent to recycling or charity.
Please note that the shop can no longer accept for sale the following:
