EDUCATING THE whole child

Our mission is to develop and encourage children with active and creative minds, to have a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and to have the courage to act on their beliefs.

We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional and physical. We call this ‘Educating the Whole Child’ and is something that we pride ourselves on day in, day out and throughout the Danes Hill journey.

Scholarship and Common Entrance Success

We are delighted to announce that Danes Hill School pupils have gained 57 Senior School Scholarships last year.

All Common Entrance pupils successfully gained entry to their chosen Senior School. From the 32 different Senior Schools Danes Hill fed, 94% of the grades awarded were A*-C grades.

Uniform & Sports Kit

It is expected that all pupils will maintain a smart appearance (shoes polished, shirts properly buttoned, hair well groomed etc) and that all clothing will be clean and in good repair. It is recommended that blazers are dry cleaned every half term.

  • Manufacturers’ instructions must be followed on all washable items.
  • All articles must be clearly and indelibly marked with the owner's name INSIDE of the garments.
  • No responsibility can be accepted for unmarked items.
  • For girls, hair apparel should be white or navy blue.
