An intrepid team of Old Ravens are competing in the Bournemouth Sevens in May 2009. In 2008 the inaugural festival was born and with 96 teams the festival became the biggest in Europe attracting over 12,000 fans in its first year. "This tournament gives this team an opportunity to relive the glory days of old and an excuse for some old friends to get together, have some fun, a few beers and play a little rugby. We all learnt our rugby education at Danes Hill School and wore the blue and white colours with pride. As a school team we were feared among our opposition and loved by our school. Now ten years on, do the boys of 1999 still have the magic in their feet and can we still tear teams apart on the rugby pitch like we used too...(probably not but we will have a go)."
