Year 6 Survive With Flying Colours

On Saturday 3 May 32 boys and girls spent the day learning tosurvive in the great (Danes Hill) outdoors. The enthusiastic staff from Bushcraft Survival taught the children the survivalist's tricks of the trade, including firelighting, shelter building, wild camp cooking, water purification techniques and plant recognition. The weather was fantastic, the children learnt a lot during the course of the day, and fantastic fun was had without an X-box or Play Station in sight!
